Getting to Know my Friends- Students will write the names of 4 friends and draw a picture of them.
All About My Name: Students will practicing writing their name, counting the letters, and identifying the letters in their name.
Roll & Write Your Name: Give students a dice and have them write their name several times using the color that corresponds to the number their roll.
Find Your Partner Number Cards (0-17): Give each student a number card or ten-frame card. Make sure each number card will have a ten-frame partner and then ask students to find their partner.
Find Your Partner Letter Cards: Give each student a letter card. Make sure each uppercase letter will have a lowercase partner and then ask students to find their partner.
Letter Cut & Pastes and Letter Mats: Make sure that the letter mats that you choose for each table have the corresponding cut outs. This is meant to be a small group activity.
