-identify sight words spelled correctly and incorrectly (review from a 2nd grade word list)
-match simple idiom phrases with pictures and meanings
-identify quadrilaterals
-identify other 2D and 3D shapes
-read and solve simple addition story problems asking students to carry
-solve addition problems and identify whether they had to carry or not carry a number to solve it
-provide reasons about why they liked a story
-write a silly story about apples going to school
-brainstorm important school rules and participate in discussions about school rules
-show comprehension of a passage about growing an apple tree, caring for an apple tree, and harvesting/storing apples
